I love dogs. Always have. Mainly because we had the opportunity to have some great dogs in our family and some not so great dogs to show us how great the great ones were. I was saddened this morning to hear about the passing of one great pet. Miles was always fun to be around….

Welcome to the world of Hennessey G!
Hello and welcome to the Hennessey G Photography Blog! It has been hard work making the transition from the old blog to the new blogspace attached to my main website. I love the way the new site shows off my images and I hope you love it as well.
If you are new here, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Hennessey Green, a photographer local to the Washington D.C. area. Whoa! It feels great to say that because it has been a long and wonderful journey for me to become a photographer. Now I have always had a camera handy to document what was happening around me but it has been the last few years in which I've focused on making photography my second career. As I have grown in photography over the years, I have learned that a lot of my experiences can be defined by what I have immortalized behind the lens. If you were to ask, who is Hennessey, I will tell you that I am a dedicated husband, a coach of young men, a rock for my friends, an intense and hard working employee, and a lover of the photographic image.
